A new issue of the journal Regards sur le travail , on aging and end of careers, is now online. Many researchers form the CURA participated in this issue, which was the object of peer-review managed by the Department of Labour of Quebec. The 2011 International Review on Parental Leave is now available
Bernard Fusulier and Diane-Gabrielle Tremblay (with Andrea Doucet and Donna Lero) present the situation in Belgium and in Canada. There are many very interesting articles in this Annual Review, including articles on Iceland, which has a 9 month parental leave, with 3 months reserved for the father (non transferable to mother), 3 months reserved for the mother and 3 months that can be shared. Norway has also just passed the reserved paternity leave (called Daddy leave !) from 2 to 3 months. Click here for the Review.

A new publication on Paternal Involvement in Work-family issues , by Bernard Fusulier and Jacques Marquet, from Louvainla Neuve university, in Belgium.
Members of CURA in SASE (Madrid)
Bernard Fusulier and Diane-Gabrielle Tremblay presented papers in the SASE conference 2011, which was held in Madrid from June 23rd to 26 th. Their presentations were on work-family articulation in various professions (police, social workers, nurses and social economy) , on the basis of their research centered on the mediating role of "professional ethos" in work-family articulation.
CURA seminar
A CURA seminar was held on March 31st , with some 20 persons, on Time policies and Time offices in Europe ; future meetings are planned in the fall to try to get an organization or some exchanges going on this theme of Time policies and Time offices in the Canadian context.
